1937 purchase of the painting from Munich possession (Glimann?) through the art dealer Haberstock. 1938 purchase of the painting by the Chancellery and transfer to the custody of the special mission in Linz Führerbau Munich. Register under No. 3488. 1945 takeover of the painting in the CCP Munich from the depot in the "Führerbau" Munich, Arcisstraße 83. 1962 handover of the painting in the departmental assets of the Foreign Ministry for the furnishing of the ambassador's residence in Paris, Palais Beauharmais. 1976 use of the painting facilities in the residence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in The Hague, Huis Schuylenburch. The provenance research is completed. There is no evidence to suspect an NS -verfolgungsbedingten asset loss. Because of gaps in the provenance history is such, however, not be completely excluded.
